Our Telecoms Customer 2014 -present
We have been using the Lubricheck device in-house since 2014 our first customer, the GM at a telecoms company owned a 2010 Honda Accord that had been bought brand new 4 years earlier with 14 other mix of vehicles: Another Honda Accord, 4 Toyota busses, 4 Toyota pickups, 4 Hyundai Accent and a Honda Pilot.
By 2014 there were only 2 Toyota busses (engines Smoking), 1 Toyota pickup (engine Smoking), 2 Hyundai Accent (engines Smoking), 2 Honda Accord (one engine knocked within its 1st year) and the Honda pilot still working.
One Honda Pilot and Accord were serviced every 3 months for the first 4 years at an authorized Honda Dealer the remaining vehicles were serviced at a service center that had been in the industry for over 50 years.
Feedback from the GM was that the Honda Dealership used original Honda, Fully synthetic 5W30, oil. After 3 months and 3000 KM the oil was still a Number 1 on the device and after 16 months 16,000 KM and 6 hours daily start and stop traffic the oil would be a number 7 or 8 on the Lubricheck.
The 50 year old service center used a 20W50 engine oil that after 2 weeks and about 500 to 1000 KM later was a number 10 each time for all vehicles. This meant the engine oil was already bad before the OEM/Manufacturers recommended 5000KM or 3 month interval.
Feedback from the GM in 2021 was that his Honda was still in perfect condition (runs like New) and he services the vehicle every 2 to 3 years or every 15 to 20,000 KM depending on when the Lubricheck tells him to at No 7. Most of the remaining vehicles stopped working by 2017, none of the other 14 vehicles run today in 2021, ten years later.
